5 questions with guest interviews

Hey! I am Molly, a 17 year old small blogger and student from the UK. I have recently launched my blog and I am doing blogmas every single day in the build up to christmas! On there, I talk all things lifestyle , productivity, relaxtion and more!! When I am not working on blogging, I am normally in college studying for my diploma in photography and graphic design, as one day I would love to be a full time photographer capturing the world around us.

1. What keeps you calm?

This may sound weird but it depends on what I need to be keeping calm about! For example, if it is anything that makes me upset my boyfriend is my go to, he is the best at knowing how to calm me down. But if I am mad or angry, it is defintely my best friend. I can rant to her so so much and she literally just takes it!

2. If you were to choose an influencer to spend the day with, who would it be and why?

This is such a difficult question for me and I think it would be one of three people! I would absolutely love to spend a day with Mia Jeal! I just find her so inspiring and I think Mabel is the cutest baby I have ever seen!! However, I would love to spend the day with Renee Amberg as I love her productivity videos and the way she talks about life just does make sense to me for some reason. But, I believe 12 year old me would absolutely love to spend the day with Zoe Sugg! So it would have to be one of those three inspiring women!!

3. Tell us a bad habit that you find so hard to change. Why?

I would say putting to much on myself until I burn out!! For example, at the moment I have blogmas which I am doing every single day, I am in college three days a week, I am learning to drive and also I work 12 hours a week. This does get too much sometime and I have to be careful it doesn't get too bad to the point where I literally have a mental breakdown and need to take time away from it all in order to feel better.

4. How do you silence the fears in your mind when you think about the future?

Before, I used to get so stressed about my future and all the "what if's" about getting a job, driving, money, getting a flat of my own... that kind of thing. However, this year has really taught me that everything happens for a reason. I am learning that I am doing the best that I can for me and my life in this moment in time, and no one can expect anymore of me. And, when I do start to panic about it, I look back at how far I have come in the last two-ish years and realise that I have grown and I am getting somewhere with my life. Doing that really helps me!!

5. What is the hardest part of being a teenager in the middle of a pandemic?

I believe that when you leave secondary school (so your 16) your life moves so fast and everything happens so quickly. For example, you start looking for work, you are learning to drive, you are attending college and also trying to have some kind of social life. However, I was unable to do any of this due to the pandemic and only since August/September have I had the opportunity to start doing these things, but in the second lockdown it has stopped again. I also think I would be lying to myself and everyone else if I said that 2020 has been easy for me and hasn't effected my mental health a lot. However, I am finally able to say that I feel "better", definitely not the same as I was back in March, but I am coming back stronger and happier, it is just taking time! All of this combined has been difficult, and it took me a lot of time to get my hear around.
